CGC Airport Transfers runs pre-booked private transfers between Gold Coast hotels and both airports — Gold Coast Airport at Coolangatta and Brisbane Airport. Every booking is a private transfer: one booking, one vehicle, no shared stops and no other guests collected on the way.

Hotel pickups have their own rhythm. The porte cochère is where the bell desk stages luggage and it’s usually not where a rideshare pin drop lands — which is how guests end up standing under the awning while a driver waits on a side street. Give us the hotel name and room number at booking and the driver pulls into the forecourt where the trolley is waiting.

About the prices in our guides: the figures published on each hotel page are for the hotel-to-airport direction. Airport pickups are quoted separately, because collecting at an airport carries an airport access fee. Book both legs on one reservation and both prices are confirmed upfront before you pay. Why is there one guide for four Star hotels instead of four?

Because the transfer facts are identical. All four sit on Broadbeach Island at the one address, share the Casino Drive entry and carry the same distance, drive time and price to both airports. One guide covers the lot and gives each tower its own section with the correct drop-off point, rather than four near-identical pages.

When will the remaining hotel guides be published?

They’re being written and published progressively and this page links each one as it goes live. In the meantime every property listed is already serviced — you can book a transfer from any of them today.

Can I book a transfer from these hotels now?

Yes. The guides are documentation, not a prerequisite. Put the hotel name and your room number into the booking form along with your flight details and you’ll get a locked quote back.

Where does the driver meet me at a hotel?

At the porte cochère or main entrance, coordinated with the bell desk where the property has one. Apartment towers are usually a lobby or designated loading zone instead. Note the hotel and room number at booking and the pickup point is confirmed in your SMS the night before.

My accommodation has several towers. Does that matter?

Yes and it’s worth getting right. At a multi-tower complex the property name alone doesn’t tell a driver which driveway to pull into and a vehicle at the wrong tower is as unhelpful as one that hasn’t arrived. Include the tower with your room or apartment number at booking and both go onto the job and into your confirmation SMS. It’s equally worth doing on the arrival leg, so you’re dropped at the right building rather than walking across a large site with luggage.

How much does a hotel transfer cost?

Every hotel has a fixed price to each airport — pricing is per vehicle, not per person, with GST included and the figure locked at booking. There’s no meter and no surge: the price published for your hotel is the price charged. The prices published in our guides and route directories are for the hotel-to-airport direction; airport pickups are quoted separately, because collecting at an airport carries an airport access fee and booking both legs on one reservation takes 5% off the return leg. The Gold Coast Airport route directory and Brisbane Airport route directory carry from-prices by suburb and the booking form returns the exact figure for your hotel and direction.

What time should I be collected for my flight?

We aim to have you at the airport 2 hours before a domestic departure and 3 hours before an international one. Your pickup time is that lead plus the drive, with extra allowed in peak traffic. Give us the flight number at booking and we work the time back from it.

Do you charge more on event weekends?

No. There’s no surge at any time of year — the locked quote applies through major events, school holidays and peak periods. A higher rate applies on Christmas Day and Easter Sunday only.

Can you collect us on arrival and take us to the hotel?

Yes and both legs can go on one reservation. The arrival leg is quoted separately from the departure leg because airport collections carry an airport access fee, so you’ll see two figures rather than a doubled one — both confirmed upfront. Flight monitoring runs on every airport pickup, so the collection follows your actual landing at no extra charge and wait time isn’t charged.

Are child seats available for a hotel pickup?

Yes. Booked hire and taxi services are exempt from Queensland’s child restraint requirements, so a seat isn’t mandatory in our vehicles — but we’re glad to provide one. Australian-Standards rear-facing seats, forward-facing seats and boosters are fitted before pickup on request at $35 per seat, itemised inside your locked quote. Tell us the ages at booking. What if my hotel isn’t listed?

We still go there. The list above is the set of properties getting a dedicated guide, not the service area — every Gold Coast hotel, resort, serviced apartment and holiday rental is covered, along with private addresses across the Gold Coast and Northern NSW.

Will the driver help with luggage from the bell desk?

Yes — loading is part of every trip. Have the bags at the porte-cochère or bell desk and the driver takes it from there, at both ends.

We’re two rooms travelling together — one vehicle or two?

Up to 7 passengers with up to 6 large cases fit one Kia Carnival. Beyond that, two vehicles run on one booking and arrive together — one contact, one invoice.

Which airport should we use for our hotel?

For most Gold Coast hotels, OOL — it’s 25–35 minutes from the central strip and the transfer is less than half the BNE fare. Fly from Brisbane when your route only serves BNE; the fixed $200 / $260 fare and 70–90 minute drive are on every guide.

How far ahead should we book a hotel pickup?

As soon as you have flights — hotel pickups are committed in advance with the exact meet point confirmed the night before by SMS. Same-week is usually fine; peak weekends fill first.

Is there a discount for booking arrival and departure together?

Yes — both legs on one reservation takes 5% off the return leg, and each pickup time is set from its own flight.

How do we pay?

Card online at booking or tap-and-go with the driver. One per-vehicle price, GST included — nothing goes on the hotel bill and there’s nothing to settle in the car.

Family of 4 with lots of luggage, prams etc. The booking process via Chris was a breeze, communication was clear (including on the day with our driver Cam for meeting), the vehicle was immaculately clean / comfortable and the rates are really competitive.

Big delay and went another way and delivered me to the airport ahead of schedule. Perhaps they could manage the aircraft as it was a steep downhill after this terrific service

Chris, the proprietor and manager of CGC Transfers, initially our Uber driver, had picked us up from the airport and has provided us with the friendliest and most accommodating private transport experience. After Chris had informed us of his Private Transport business, I asked for a quote on the spot based on our itinerary and he was quick to provide with no hidden costs or issues. The price was fair given the high demands of the season and it comes with excellent communication and service from your own private driver. Highly recommend to book CGC Transfers particularly if you're in larger groups of 5-8 plus luggage. Thanks again Chris, hope to have you look after us again in the future.

Pickup: porte cochère or main entrance collection coordinated with the bell desk where the property has one, with apartment towers and residences collected from the lobby or designated loading zone. At multi-tower complexes the specific tower is required at booking, as the property name alone does not identify a driveway. Provide the hotel name, tower where applicable and room number at booking so the pickup point is captured on the record and confirmed in the night-before SMS.

Pricing: per vehicle rather than per person — a fixed published figure for each hotel to each airport, locked at booking, with GST inside every quote and no meter or surge. Published hotel prices are for the hotel-to-airport direction; airport pickups are quoted separately, as inbound legs carry an airport access fee. No surge at any time of year, no metered fare and no fuel levy; a higher rate applies on Christmas Day and Easter Sunday only. The Gateway Motorway toll on the Brisbane run sits inside the quote; the Gold Coast Airport run is toll-free. An after-hours fee applies to pickups between 9pm and 6am and is confirmed inside the locked quote.

On the day: a driver is allocated ahead of the pickup with a night-before SMS confirming the driver name, vehicle registration and pickup point. Departures are timed to have you at the airport 2 hours before domestic flights and 3 hours before international, plus the drive. Flight monitoring runs on every airport pickup, the collection follows the actual landing time and wait time is not charged. Meet and greet is included on Gold Coast Airport arrivals.

Fleet: Sedan or similar (1–3 passengers, 2 large cases plus 2 carry-on, no boards), 7-seat Kia Carnival (up to 7 passengers, up to 6 large cases, golf bags, up to 3 boards in 1–2 bags) and 12-seater Transporter (8–11 passengers, up to 8 check-in suitcases plus 4 carry-on). Groups over 11 run as multi-vehicle bookings on one reservation, each vehicle timed to its own flight. Booked hire and taxi services are exempt from Queensland’s child restraint requirements; child seats are provided and fitted on request at $35 per seat, up to 5 in the Kia Carnival and passengers are welcome to bring their own.
