Hotel & Retreat Airport Transfers

The Short Answer

Hotel airport transfers with CGC are private, door-to-porte-cochère and fixed-price per vehicle: Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach hotels are $90 sedan / $120 Kia Carnival to Gold Coast Airport and $200 / $260 to Brisbane Airport, both directions on BNE, GST and tolls included, locked at booking. The guides below cover exact pickup points, tower entrances and timing for each property — from The Star to Salt Village and the hinterland retreats.

Porte cochère pickups from every major Gold Coast hotel, resort and apartment tower — plus the Northern NSW destination retreats — GST included, price locked at booking.

✓ Porte Cochère Pickup ✓ Concierge Coordinated ✓ Price Locked at Booking ✓ No Event-Weekend Surge ✓ Licensed Booked-Hire Service

CGC Airport Transfers runs pre-booked private transfers between Gold Coast hotels and both airports — Gold Coast Airport at Coolangatta and Brisbane Airport. Every booking is a private transfer: one booking, one vehicle, no shared stops and no other guests collected on the way.

Hotel pickups have their own rhythm. The porte cochère is where the bell desk stages luggage and it’s usually not where a rideshare pin drop lands — which is how guests end up standing under the awning while a driver waits on a side street. Give us the hotel name and room number at booking and the driver pulls into the forecourt where the trolley is waiting.

About the prices in our guides: the figures published on each hotel page are for the hotel-to-airport direction. Brisbane Airport pickups are the same price; Gold Coast Airport pickups cost a little more, because collecting there carries an airport access fee and in-terminal meet and greet. Book both legs on one reservation and both prices are confirmed upfront before you pay. Book both legs on one reservation and a 5% discount applies to the return leg.

What each hotel guide covers

The exact pickup point — which entrance, forecourt, tower or loading zone that property uses
Distance and drive time to both Gold Coast Airport and Brisbane Airport
Suggested pickup times worked back from your flight — 2 hours before domestic departures, 3 hours before international, plus the drive
Concierge and bell-desk coordination — how luggage staging is handled at that hotel
Local detail — the event calendar, the traffic pattern on that stretch and anything particular to the building
The from-price for that address to each airport, stated hotel-to-airport, with the return leg quoted separately

The Star Gold Coast Precinct

→ The Star Gold Coast airport transfer guide

Four properties share one site on Broadbeach Island, one driveway off Casino Drive and the same distance to both airports — so one guide covers all of them, with a section for each tower and the drop-off point for each entrance. It’s published and open now.

Properties covered in that guide:

Salt Village Precinct (Kingscliff)

→ Salt Village airport transfer guide

The Tweed Coast’s beachfront village on Bells Boulevard shares one fixed-fare zone across every property — a fixed $90 sedan to Gold Coast Airport and $260 to Brisbane Airport, with the whole precinct covered in one guide.

Properties covered in that guide:

Hinterland & Valley Retreats (Northern NSW)

Two of the Northern Rivers’ destination retreats now carry their own fixed OOL routes — one locked price per vehicle, both directions, with Brisbane and everything else quoted instantly at booking.

Hotels and Resorts

The branded hotels and resorts across Broadbeach, Surfers Paradise, Main Beach and the northern precincts. Each name becomes a link once its guide publishes.

Apartment Towers and Resort Residences

The apartment-style and residence properties, where the pickup point is more often a lobby, a specific tower or a designated loading zone than a hotel forecourt. Each name becomes a link once its guide publishes.

Staying somewhere not on this list? The list covers the properties getting their own guide — it isn’t the limit of where we go. We collect from every Gold Coast hotel, resort, serviced apartment and holiday rental, plus private addresses across the Gold Coast and Northern NSW.

Scale matters here: Experience Gold Coast reports 14.4 million visitors in 2025 on Tourism Research Australia data, including a record 682,000 international travellers staying 10.3 million nights (visitor economy results) — and the overnight share of that traffic arrives and leaves through the two airports every guide on this page prices.

Fixed Prices to the Airport

Every hotel transfer is a fixed price for your hotel’s zone — locked at booking, GST included, no meter and no surge. Prices below are for the hotel-to-airport direction; airport pickups are quoted separately because of the airport access fee. Format: Sedan / Kia Carnival.

Prices updated 26 August 2026

Hotel area	To Gold Coast Airport (OOL)	To Brisbane Airport (BNE)
Broadbeach	$90 / $120	$200 / $260
Surfers Paradise	$90 / $120	$200 / $260
Mermaid Beach	$90 / $120	$200 / $260
Burleigh Heads	$80 / $105	$215 / $275
Coolangatta & Kirra	$55 / $85	$230 / $300
Salt Village & Kingscliff	$90 / $120	$260 / $360
Gaia Retreat & Spa (Brooklet)	$220 / $310	Quoted at booking
Midginbil Eco Resort (Tweed Valley)	$195 / $245	Quoted at booking

Book both legs on one reservation and the return leg is 5% off. Hotels outside these zones are covered too — the price shown on each hotel’s own guide page applies.

Booking From a Hotel

What to include

Hotel name and room number — the room number lets the bell desk be briefed for luggage staging
The tower, if the property has more than one — a complex name alone doesn’t tell a driver which driveway to use
Which airport and terminal — Gold Coast Airport and Brisbane Domestic or International, since Brisbane’s two terminals are separate buildings
Flight number and scheduled time, so the pickup is worked back from your check-in rather than guessed
Passenger count and luggage, including prams, golf bags, surfboards or anything oversized
Child seats — the children’s ages and approximate sizes, if you’d like seats fitted
Return flight details if you’re booking both legs on one reservation

“Every hotel on the Coast has a kerb the map thinks is the entrance and a kerb the porters actually use. These guides exist because I’ve stood at both — and the pickup time on your confirmation is set for the one that works at 5am.”
— Chris, owner-driver

Frequently Asked Questions

Which hotel guides are live now?

Twenty-three, covering twenty-six properties: The Star Gold Coast precinct (covering The Star Grand, The Darling, Dorsett Gold Coast and The Star Residences), Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach, Hilton Surfers Paradise, JW Marriott Gold Coast, QT Gold Coast, voco Gold Coast, Novotel Surfers Paradise, Peppers Soul, Q1 Resort & Spa, Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise, Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Imperial Hotel Gold Coast, Sea World Resort, InterContinental Sanctuary Cove, RACV Royal Pines, Mercure Gold Coast Resort, Mantra Legends Hotel, Peppers Broadbeach, Meriton Suites Broadbeach, Avani Broadbeach Residences, Meriton Suites Surfers Paradise, Mantra Towers of Chevron and Oracle Broadbeach. The remaining properties are in progress and each hotel name in the lists above becomes a clickable link the moment its guide goes live.

Why is there one guide for four Star hotels instead of four?

Because the transfer facts are identical. All four sit on Broadbeach Island at the one address, share the Casino Drive entry and carry the same distance, drive time and price to both airports. One guide covers the lot and gives each tower its own section with the correct drop-off point, rather than four near-identical pages.

When will the remaining hotel guides be published?

They’re being written and published progressively and this page links each one as it goes live. In the meantime every property listed is already serviced — you can book a transfer from any of them today.

Can I book a transfer from these hotels now?

Yes. The guides are documentation, not a prerequisite. Put the hotel name and your room number into the booking form along with your flight details and you’ll get a locked quote back.

Where does the driver meet me at a hotel?

At the porte cochère or main entrance, coordinated with the bell desk where the property has one. Apartment towers are usually a lobby or designated loading zone instead. Note the hotel and room number at booking and the pickup point is confirmed in your SMS the night before.

My accommodation has several towers. Does that matter?

Yes and it’s worth getting right. At a multi-tower complex the property name alone doesn’t tell a driver which driveway to pull into and a vehicle at the wrong tower is as unhelpful as one that hasn’t arrived. Include the tower with your room or apartment number at booking and both go onto the job and into your confirmation SMS. It’s equally worth doing on the arrival leg, so you’re dropped at the right building rather than walking across a large site with luggage.

How much does a hotel transfer cost?

Every hotel has a fixed price to each airport — pricing is per vehicle, not per person, with GST included and the figure locked at booking. There’s no meter and no surge: the price published for your hotel is the price charged. The prices published in our guides and route directories are for the hotel-to-airport direction; Brisbane Airport pickups are the same price, Gold Coast Airport pickups carry the airport access fee, and booking both legs on one reservation takes 5% off the return leg. The Gold Coast Airport route directory and Brisbane Airport route directory carry from-prices by suburb and the booking form returns the exact figure for your hotel and direction.

What time should I be collected for my flight?

We aim to have you at the airport 2 hours before a domestic departure and 3 hours before an international one. Your pickup time is that lead plus the drive, with extra allowed in peak traffic. Give us the flight number at booking and we work the time back from it.

Do you charge more on event weekends?

No. There’s no surge at any time of year — the locked quote applies through major events, school holidays and peak periods. A higher rate applies on Easter Sunday only (closed on Christmas Day).

Can you collect us on arrival and take us to the hotel?

Yes and both legs can go on one reservation. At Brisbane Airport the arrival leg costs the same as the departure; at Gold Coast Airport it costs a little more, because collections there carry the airport access fee — both legs are confirmed upfront. Flight monitoring runs on every airport pickup, so the collection follows your actual landing at no extra charge and wait time isn’t charged.

Are child seats available for a hotel pickup?

Yes. Booked hire and taxi services are exempt from Queensland’s child restraint requirements, so a seat isn’t mandatory in our vehicles — but we’re glad to provide one. Australian-Standards rear-facing baby seats, forward-facing child seats and boosters are fitted before pickup on request at $35 per seat, itemised inside your locked quote. Tell us the ages at booking. Full detail on our baby and child seats page.

What if my hotel isn’t listed?

We still go there. The list above is the set of properties getting a dedicated guide, not the service area — every Gold Coast hotel, resort, serviced apartment and holiday rental is covered, along with private addresses across the Gold Coast and Northern NSW.

Will the driver help with luggage from the bell desk?

Yes — loading is part of every trip. Have the bags at the porte-cochère or bell desk and the driver takes it from there, at both ends.

We’re two rooms travelling together — one vehicle or two?

Up to 7 passengers with up to 6 large cases fit one Kia Carnival. Beyond that, two vehicles run on one booking and arrive together — one contact, one invoice.

Which airport should we use for our hotel?

For most Gold Coast hotels, OOL — it’s 25–35 minutes from the central strip and the transfer is less than half the BNE fare. Fly from Brisbane when your route only serves BNE; the fixed $200 / $260 fare and 70–90 minute drive are on every guide.

How far ahead should we book a hotel pickup?

As soon as you have flights — hotel pickups are committed in advance with the exact meet point confirmed the night before by SMS. Same-week is usually fine; peak weekends fill first.

Is there a discount for booking arrival and departure together?

Yes — both legs on one reservation takes 5% off the return leg, and each pickup time is set from its own flight.

How do we pay?

Card online at booking — every transfer is pre-booked and paid before travel, so there’s nothing to pay in the car. One per-vehicle price, GST included — nothing goes on the hotel bill and there’s nothing to settle in the car.

Checking out early? The one thing worth doing the night before is confirming the pickup point with the front desk — most hotels stage luggage at the porte cochère from a set hour and knowing whether the bell desk is manned at 4am saves a scramble in the lobby. Your confirmation SMS carries the driver’s name, the vehicle registration and the pickup point, so there’s nothing to arrange on the morning itself.

The driver (Sharron) notified me of her arrival - which was early - but really suited me; although, please don't think that she was pressuring me as she was prepared to wait. Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. How good is this service! Huge storm no visability but no issues. Big delay and went another way and delivered me to the airport ahead of schedule. Perhaps they could manage the aircraft as it was a steep downhill after this terrific service

Owner's reply
Thanks so much for the awesome review! That storm was abit Nuts, so I’m glad we still got you to the airport nice and early. Gotta say, we loved the aircraft joke too!

Thanks again for choosing CGC Airport Transfers. See you when you return.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently travelled from Adelaide to Gold Coast for a short holiday to celebrate my mum's 60th and as a big family reunion. Chris, the proprietor and manager of CGC Transfers, initially our Uber driver, had picked us up from the airport and has provided us with the friendliest and most accommodating private transport experience. After Chris had informed us of his Private Transport business, I asked for a quote on the spot based on our itinerary and he was quick to provide with no hidden costs or issues. The price was fair given the high demands of the season and it comes with excellent communication and service from your own private driver. Highly recommend to book CGC Transfers particularly if you're in larger groups of 5-8 plus luggage. Thanks again Chris, hope to have you look after us again in the future.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had Zaffa as our driver from Biggera Waters to the Gold Coast Airport on 30/4/25, could not have been happier that we selected them for our transport. Zaf was on time, car was great and a very pleasant trip. Also cheaper than a Taxi.

CGC Airport Transfers — private, pre-booked hotel airport transfers across the Gold Coast, to Gold Coast Airport (OOL, Coolangatta) and Brisbane Airport (BNE). Dedicated pickup guides are published for The Star Gold Coast precinct, Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach, Hilton Surfers Paradise, JW Marriott Gold Coast, QT Gold Coast, voco Gold Coast, Novotel Surfers Paradise, Peppers Soul, Q1 Resort & Spa, Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise, Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Imperial Hotel Gold Coast, Sea World Resort, InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort, RACV Royal Pines Resort, Mercure Gold Coast Resort, Mantra Legends Hotel, Peppers Broadbeach, Meriton Suites Broadbeach, Avani Broadbeach Residences, Meriton Suites Surfers Paradise, Mantra Towers of Chevron and Oracle Broadbeach, with further guides in progress and linked from this page as they publish. Every other property listed is serviced today.

Pickup: porte cochère or main entrance collection coordinated with the bell desk where the property has one, with apartment towers and residences collected from the lobby or designated loading zone. At multi-tower complexes the specific tower is required at booking, as the property name alone does not identify a driveway. Provide the hotel name, tower where applicable and room number at booking so the pickup point is captured on the record and confirmed in the night-before SMS.

Pricing: per vehicle rather than per person — a fixed published figure for each hotel to each airport, locked at booking, with GST inside every quote and no meter or surge. Published hotel prices are for the hotel-to-airport direction; Brisbane Airport pickups are the same price, and Gold Coast Airport pickups carry the airport access fee. No surge at any time of year, no metered fare and no fuel levy; a higher rate applies on Easter Sunday only (closed on Christmas Day). The Gateway Motorway toll on the Brisbane run sits inside the quote; the Gold Coast Airport run is toll-free. An after-hours fee applies to pickups between 9pm and 6am and is confirmed inside the locked quote.

On the day: a driver is allocated ahead of the pickup with a night-before SMS confirming the driver name, vehicle registration and pickup point. Departures are timed to have you at the airport 2 hours before domestic flights and 3 hours before international, plus the drive. Flight monitoring runs on every airport pickup, the collection follows the actual landing time and waiting is included for 45 minutes after a domestic landing (90 after an international one). Meet and greet is included on Gold Coast Airport arrivals.

Fleet: Sedan or similar (1–3 passengers, 2 large cases plus 2 carry-on, no boards), 7-seat Kia Carnival (up to 7 passengers, up to 6 large cases, golf bags, up to 3 boards in 1–2 bags) and 12-seater VW Crafter (up to 11 passengers, up to 8 check-in suitcases plus 4 carry-on). Groups over 11 run as multi-vehicle bookings on one reservation, each vehicle timed to its own flight. Booked hire and taxi services are exempt from Queensland’s child restraint requirements; baby seats and child seats are provided and fitted on request at $35 per seat, up to 5 in the Kia Carnival — you never need to bring your own.

Service area: every Gold Coast hotel, resort, serviced apartment and holiday rental, plus private addresses across the Gold Coast, the hinterland and Northern NSW including Tweed Heads, Kingscliff, Byron Bay and Ballina.

Licensing: licensed and insured under Queensland Booked Hire arrangements administered by Queensland Transport and Main Roads. Standard hours 6am–9pm, with pre-booked early morning and after-hours transfers available. 5.0 stars from 100 Google reviews.
