The Short Answer

From Surfers Paradise or Broadbeach it is a fixed $65 Camry/Tesla or $90 Kia Carnival each way, from Burleigh Heads $75 / $105, from Palm Beach $90 / $120 and from Brisbane City, South Brisbane or Hamilton $200 / $260 — per vehicle, price locked at booking. How the Transfer Works
CGC Airport Transfers provides private Sea World transfers for families, couples and groups staying in Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, on the southern Gold Coast, in Brisbane or in Northern NSW.
Your vehicle is reserved for your booking and collects you directly from your hotel, resort, holiday accommodation or private home. Return transfers can be arranged at the same time and child seats are available as an optional extra.
Pricing is based on the exact pickup address, destination, vehicle and travel time. The confirmed price is provided before you book, with GST and any applicable after-hours fee already included. CGC is a pre-booked private transfer service rather than an on-demand taxi or rideshare.

Fixed Sea World Transfer Prices
Set one-way prices to and from Sea World at Main Beach. Fixed for the trip, GST included and locked at booking. Book both legs on one reservation and a 5% discount applies to the return leg.
Sea World (Main Beach)
| Trip | Camry/Tesla (up to 3) | Kia Carnival (up to 7) | Carnival + Camry/Tesla (up to 10) | 2 × Carnival (up to 14) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Surfers Paradise or Broadbeach ↔ Sea World | $65 | $90 | $155 | $180 |
| Burleigh Heads ↔ Sea World | $75 | $105 | $180 | $210 |

| Brisbane City, South Brisbane or Hamilton ↔ Sea World | $200 | $260 | $460 | $520 |
Two-vehicle trips (Carnival + Camry/Tesla, or 2 × Carnival) are the two single fares added together and are booked online. Other pickups — the rest of Brisbane, the southern Gold Coast and Northern NSW — are priced in the booking form from your exact address.
Sea World at Main Beach
Sea World sits on The Spit at the end of Seaworld Drive, Main Beach, with the Broadwater on one side and the ocean on the other. It is the Gold Coast’s marine park — animal encounters, shows and rides including the Leviathan wooden roller coaster — and Sea World Resort is right next door. Opening hours change by season, and the park closes on Anzac Day (25 April) and Christmas Day; check the park information page for your date.
Seaworld Drive is the only road on and off The Spit, so on busy days traffic in and out of the park is slow. A pre-booked drop-off at the entrance skips the parking hunt, and the return pickup is booked ahead, so nobody is looking for a ride when the park empties. The park is cashless, has hire lockers on its Top Terrace for day bags, and hires strollers inside the gates.
Other Gold Coast attractions
- Movie World, Wet’n’Wild, Paradise Country, the Outback Spectacular and Topgolf — the Oxenford parks, from $75 sedan / $105 Carnival
- Dreamworld and WhiteWater World — the Coomera parks, from $85 sedan / $115 Carnival
- Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary — its own fixed fares from Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Miami, Burleigh Heads and Coolangatta
- Australia Zoo — the Sunshine Coast zoo at Beerwah, $780 sedan / $1,170 Carnival return from Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach
- Tropical Fruit World — the Tweed fruit farm at Duranbah, with fixed fares from Gold Coast and Brisbane airports
- Gold Coast theme park transfers — every park and fare on one page
Why Book a Private Sea World Transfer?
Theme park days often involve early starts, children, prams, bags and a full day of walking. Pre-arranging your transport gives your group a clear plan before the day begins, and a booked ride home when it ends.
From Brisbane the run comes down the M1, which Infrastructure Australia lists as carrying in excess of 150,000 vehicles a day between Eight Mile Plains and Tugun, including more than 12,000 heavy vehicles. That is why the price is fixed at booking — a slow run down the motorway changes your arrival time, never your fare.
- A private vehicle reserved for your booking
- Dropped at the park entrance, with the return pickup booked
- No need to navigate unfamiliar roads or find parking on The Spit
- Your family or group travels together
- Child seats available on request
- Vehicle selected for your passenger and luggage requirements
- Return pickup can be booked in advance
- Confirmed price provided before travel
Unlike a shared shuttle, CGC does not collect unrelated passengers from several properties before reaching the park. Your transfer travels directly between your nominated pickup point and destination.
Which transfer arrangement suits your day?

Vehicles for Couples, Families and Groups
The correct vehicle depends on the number of passengers, children, child restraints, prams, bags and other larger items travelling with you.
Toyota Camry, Tesla or Similar
Suitable for couples, small families and groups of up to three passengers travelling with a manageable amount of luggage or theme park day bags.
Kia Carnival or Similar
Suitable for families and groups of up to seven passengers. The Carnival provides additional room for child restraints, prams and airport luggage.
VW Crafter or Similar
The 12-seater is suitable for groups of up to eleven passengers, depending on the amount of luggage and equipment, and is priced in the booking form. Larger groups can be transported using multiple coordinated vehicles, booked online.
Sea World Transfers for Families
CGC regularly transports families travelling with babies, toddlers and older children. Child restraints are provided and fitted before pickup, with an additional child seat cost added to your quote at booking.
When requesting your quote, include:
- The age of each child
- The number and type of child restraints required
- Whether you are carrying a pram
- The number of large bags or other bulky items
- The total number of adults and children
Available restraint types include rear-facing baby seats, forward-facing child seats, harnessed boosters and booster seats.
For more family transport information, read our guide to airport transfers with children on the Gold Coast.
Return Sea World Transfers
You can book a one-way transfer or arrange both your outbound and return journeys together.
For return bookings, provide your preferred pickup time from the park. It is worth allowing time to exit, collect belongings from the lockers and reach the meeting point — and at closing time everyone leaves along Seaworld Drive at once.
Your driver and pickup details are confirmed before the journey. Because CGC operates as a pre-booked service, an arranged return pickup is recommended rather than contacting us only when your day finishes.
Planning Your Sea World Day
Most families want to be at the gates for opening and to leave before the end-of-day rush. A few things make the day easier:
- Surfers Paradise or Broadbeach to the park: a short run north through Main Beach
- Brisbane to the park: about 75 km down the M1 — usually around an hour, longer in peak traffic
- Palm Beach to the park: about 25 km up the coast
- Opening hours change by season — check the park’s hours for your date and book the morning pickup to suit
- The park is cashless, has hire lockers on its Top Terrace and hires strollers inside the gates
- At closing time everyone leaves along Seaworld Drive at once, so a booked return pickup saves the wait for a ride
Planning a Brisbane day trip? Book the run down and the return together on one reservation and the return leg is 5% off.
What We Need to Provide a Quote
Sea World transfer pricing is based on the exact journey rather than one flat rate across every suburb.

- Whether the booking is one way or return
- Your preferred return pickup time from the park
- The number of adults and children
- The age of each child needing a restraint
- The number of bags, prams and larger items
- Any accessibility or additional transport requirements
Once the trip details are confirmed, we provide the suitable vehicle option and total price before booking.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much is a Sea World transfer from Surfers Paradise or Broadbeach?
A fixed $65 Camry/Tesla sedan or $90 Kia Carnival each way, per vehicle, GST included and locked at booking. Book the trip in and the return together and the return leg is 5% off.
How much is a Sea World transfer from Brisbane?
A fixed $200 Camry/Tesla sedan or $260 Kia Carnival each way from Brisbane City, the CBD, South Brisbane or Hamilton to Sea World at Main Beach — per vehicle, GST included and locked at booking. Other Brisbane suburbs are priced in the booking form from your exact address.
Can we do Sea World as a day trip from Brisbane?
Yes. Book the morning run down and the return at the time you want to leave on one reservation, and the return leg is 5% off. It is about 75 km each way down the M1 — usually around an hour, longer in peak traffic.
How much is Burleigh Heads to Sea World?
A fixed $75 sedan or $105 Kia Carnival, per vehicle, in either direction — Burleigh Waters included.
How much is Palm Beach to Sea World?
A fixed $90 sedan or $120 Kia Carnival, per vehicle, in either direction.
Can you pick us up from other Gold Coast hotels?
Yes. Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach are a fixed $65 / $90, Burleigh Heads $75 / $105 and Palm Beach $90 / $120; other Gold Coast addresses are priced in the booking form from your exact address.
Can you pick us up from Northern NSW or Byron Bay?
Yes, because the trip finishes in Queensland. Pickups from Tweed Heads, Kingscliff, Byron Bay and the rest of Northern NSW to Sea World are priced in the booking form from your exact address.
We are flying in — can you take us to Sea World from the airport?
Yes. Airport fares to and from Main Beach are on our Sea World Resort airport transfers page. A park day is easier without suitcases, so it usually works best to drop the luggage at your accommodation first.
Can we book a return Sea World transfer?
Yes. Book both legs on one reservation with the pickup time you want from the park, and the return leg is 5% off.
What time should we book the return pickup?
Work back from the park’s published closing time for your date, allowing time to exit, collect anything from the lockers and walk out to the entrance. At closing time everyone leaves along Seaworld Drive at once, so a pickup a little before the rush is often the easier one.
Where do we meet the driver?
Drop-off is at the park’s main entrance, and the return pickup meets you there at the time you booked. Your driver’s name and contact number arrive by 5pm the day before, so you can reach them on the day.
Do you also run transfers to Movie World, Dreamworld and the other parks?
Yes. Movie World, Wet’n’Wild and the other Oxenford parks have their own page, Movie World & Wet’n’Wild transfers, Dreamworld and WhiteWater World have theirs, and every park is on our theme park transfers page.
Are baby and child seats available?
Yes. Rear-facing baby seats, forward-facing child seats and boosters are fitted before pickup at $35 per seat, added to your quote at booking. Include each child’s age when you book.
Can we bring a pram?
Yes. A pram needs the Kia Carnival rather than the sedan — it takes the folded pram plus the day bags — and Sea World also hires strollers inside the park.
How many passengers can you carry?
The Toyota Camry, Tesla or similar carries up to three passengers, the Kia Carnival or similar up to seven and the 12-seater VW Crafter up to eleven, depending on luggage, prams and child-seat requirements.
Can you transport groups larger than seven people?
Yes. The 12-seater VW Crafter carries up to eleven and is priced in the booking form, or add a second vehicle: from Surfers Paradise or Broadbeach a Kia Carnival + Camry/Tesla is $155 each way and 2 × Kia Carnival is $180; from Brisbane City they are $460 and $520.
When is Sea World closed?
Sea World closes on Anzac Day (25 April) and Christmas Day, and its opening hours change by season — check the park’s own site for your date. CGC is also closed on Christmas Day.
Do you provide shared theme park shuttles?
No. CGC provides private pre-booked transfers. Your vehicle is reserved for your booking and is not shared with unrelated passengers.
Do you provide on-demand pickups?
No. All CGC services are pre-booked. Book the return from the park when you book the trip in, rather than calling when the day finishes.
Are prices per person or per vehicle?
Per vehicle. The Kia Carnival from Surfers Paradise is $90 whether it carries two people or seven — the price never multiplies by headcount.
What if it rains or we want to change the date?
Change of date is free with notice. If you cancel more than 24 hours before pickup, the full amount is held as credit for a future booking; within 24 hours no credit applies.
