Fixed Price Airport Transfers

The Short Answer

Every CGC transfer is a fixed per-vehicle price locked at booking — no meter, no surge, no per-person maths.

Trip	Sedan or similar	Kia Carnival
To Gold Coast Airport	from $55	from $85
From Gold Coast Airport	from $70	from $100
Brisbane Airport, either way	from $190	from $240

GST and tolls included. Gold Coast Airport pickups cost slightly more because they carry the airport access fee and in-terminal meet and greet. 5% off the return leg when both legs are on one booking. The full zone tables are below, and the booking form prices any address instantly.

Private, pre-booked, and priced before you travel — every route on this page is a locked figure

What this page is: the complete CGC fixed-price schedule — every zone and suburb we serve at a published price, for Brisbane Airport (BNE) and Gold Coast Airport (OOL), current as at 23 October 2026

Brisbane Airport: one fixed price per zone, identical in both directions — covering the Domestic and International terminals, Brisbane City, and the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal

Gold Coast Airport: separate pickup and drop-off prices — pickups include the airport access fee and arrivals-hall meet and greet

Vehicles shown: Camry/Tesla sedan (1–3 passengers) and Kia Carnival (up to 7). For bigger groups, a second vehicle or the 12-seater VW Crafter (up to 11 passengers) is added in the booking form, where both are priced

All prices: per vehicle, GST inclusive, locked at booking; standard hours 6am–9pm with an after-hours fee for 9pm–6am pickups

Return bookings: both legs on one reservation — 5% off the return leg

This page exists so you never have to guess what a transfer costs. Find your suburb in the tables below and the figure next to it is the figure you’ll pay — not a starting estimate, not a fare that grows with traffic, but the locked price for the run. It’s the same schedule our booking system quotes from, published in full.

Find Your Suburb — Fixed Price Chart

Start typing your suburb, then pick your vehicle. Every figure is a fixed price for the whole vehicle — not per person — GST included and locked at booking. Gold Coast Airport shows drop-off / pickup (pickups include the airport access fee and arrivals-hall meet and greet). Brisbane Airport is the same price both ways and covers the Domestic and International terminals, Brisbane City and the cruise terminal.

Brisbane Suburbs
Chapel Hill QLD	Sedan $280 / $295 · Kia Carnival $390 / $405	Quote online

“Quote online” means that suburb isn’t in the fixed schedule for that airport yet — the booking form still returns a locked price instantly. Standard hours 6am–9pm. The Kia Carnival seats 7 passengers with up to 3 large bags at the same fare.

Point-to-Point: Byron Bay ↔ Gold Coast

Byron Bay to Surfers Paradise (central Gold Coast, non-airport): a fixed $250 Camry/Tesla sedan or $330 Kia Carnival each way — per vehicle, GST included, locked at booking.

Three tables cover everything: Brisbane Airport (one price, both directions), Gold Coast Airport pickups (from the airport, meet and greet included), and Gold Coast Airport drop-offs (to the airport). If your suburb isn’t listed, we still run there — unlisted addresses are quoted individually as a fixed figure before you book.

“In six years I’ve never had a price move between the booking and the boot closing at the other end — that’s the entire product. The meter’s a gamble on traffic; my number is the number, whatever the M1 decides to do.”
— Chris, owner-driver

How Fixed Pricing Works

Every price on this page is per vehicle, not per person, with GST inside the figure. The price is locked when you book: no meter runs, no surge applies on event weekends or in school holidays, and a slow M1 costs you nothing extra. The only calendar exceptions are Easter Sunday, which carries a higher rate, and pickups between 9pm and 6am, which carry an after-hours fee — both confirmed inside your quote before you pay. We’re closed on Christmas Day.

Brisbane Airport runs are priced identically in both directions — suburb to BNE or BNE to suburb — with the Gateway toll already inside the fare, covering both terminals, Brisbane City and the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal. Gold Coast Airport runs carry different pickup and drop-off prices, because airport pickups include the airport access fee and an arrivals-hall meet and greet, where your driver waits inside the terminal with flight monitoring on every arrival.

Book the arrival and departure on one reservation and the return leg is discounted 5%, with both figures confirmed upfront.

The reason the fixed figure matters is the road it rides: Infrastructure Australia lists the M1 between Eight Mile Plains and Tugun as carrying in excess of 150,000 vehicles a day, including over 12,000 heavy vehicles, on its Infrastructure Priority List — a meter running on that motorway is a bet on traffic; every price in the tables below is the same number at 5am and 5pm.

Brisbane Airport (BNE) — Fixed Prices, Both Directions

One fixed price per zone, whichever direction you’re travelling. All figures include the Gateway toll and GST.

Vehicles and Luggage

The Camry/Tesla sedan carries 1–3 passengers with up to 2 large suitcases plus carry-on — the right fit for couples and solo travellers with checked bags. The Kia Carnival carries up to 7 passengers with up to 6 large suitcases — the family and small-group workhorse, with room for prams, golf bags and boards when flagged at booking.

Need more? The 12-seater VW Crafter (up to 11 passengers) runs every route on this page for groups, with up to 8 large suitcases for a full group and a luggage trailer for more — priced in the booking form and booked online. Groups of 8–14 can instead add a second vehicle in the booking form, where it is priced. Parties larger than 14 travel as multi-vehicle bookings on one reservation, also quoted directly. Baby seats and child seats are provided and fitted on request at $35 per seat under Queensland’s booked-hire exemption; in New South Wales an approved restraint is required for under-7s — no exemption applies.

More than 6.2 million travellers passed through Gold Coast Airport in 2025, per Gold Coast Airport’s own newsroom — a pre-booked car with in-terminal meet & greet is how you sidestep the kerb at numbers like that.

Fixed Price Transfer FAQs

Is the price really fixed — no meter at all?

Really fixed. The figure in the table is the figure charged: no meter, no surge on event weekends or school holidays, no fuel levy, no adjustment for traffic. The only variations are the after-hours fee for pickups between 9pm and 6am and a higher rate on Easter Sunday (closed on Christmas Day) — both confirmed inside your quote before you pay.

Why is Brisbane Airport the same price both ways but Gold Coast Airport isn’t?

Gold Coast Airport pickups include two things drop-offs don’t: the airport access fee charged on vehicles collecting passengers, and arrivals-hall meet and greet with your driver inside the terminal. Brisbane runs are priced with everything folded into one figure that works identically in both directions.

Is there a discount for booking both legs?

Yes — book the arrival and departure on one reservation and the return leg is discounted 5%, with both figures confirmed upfront before payment.

My suburb isn’t in the tables — do you still go there?

Almost certainly. The tables cover the published zones; anywhere else across the Gold Coast, Brisbane, the Tweed and the Northern Rivers is quoted individually — still as a fixed figure locked before you book. Phone, SMS or WhatsApp 0416 131 285 with the address.

What does the Brisbane price include?

The Gateway Motorway toll, GST, and door-to-door service covering Brisbane Airport’s Domestic and International terminals, Brisbane City/CBD, and the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal — same fixed price in either direction.

What happens if my flight is delayed on an airport pickup?

Nothing you need to act on. Flight monitoring runs on every airport pickup, the driver’s schedule follows your actual landing time, and waiting is included for 45 minutes after a domestic landing and 90 minutes after an international one.

Are prices per person or per vehicle?

Per vehicle — one figure covers everyone aboard. Three passengers in a sedan or seven in a Carnival pay the same table price.

Can I get a 12-seater on these routes?

Yes — the VW Crafter (up to 11 passengers) runs every route on this page for groups, priced in the booking form. Groups of 8–14 can instead book a two-vehicle combination — Kia Carnival + Camry/Tesla (up to 9) or 2 × Kia Carnival (up to 14) — online, priced in the booking form. Larger groups travel as multi-vehicle bookings on one reservation.

Do the prices change in school holidays or for big events?

No. The table price holds through school holidays, festivals and event weekends — the whole point of fixed pricing. Easter Sunday alone carries a higher rate (closed on Christmas Day).

What are the after-hours arrangements?

Standard-rate hours are 6am to 9pm, and transfers run 24/7 by pre-booking except Christmas Day. Pre-booked pickups between 9pm and 6am run with an after-hours fee, confirmed inside your locked quote before you commit — common for early Brisbane international departures.

How is payment handled?

Online by card at booking — nothing is paid in the car. Corporate accounts are available by prior arrangement.

What are the cancellation terms?

More than 24 hours before pickup: full credit. Within 24 hours: none. If your flight is cancelled: full credit over 4 hours out, 50% between 1.5 and 4 hours, none under 1.5. Credits apply to a future booking and aren’t refundable — full terms on the about page.

Do you provide baby seats and child seats?

Yes — Australian-Standards rear-facing baby seats, forward-facing child seats and boosters, provided and fitted on request at $35 per seat, itemised in the quote. Queensland’s booked-hire exemption means restraints aren’t legally required in our vehicles, but tell us the ages and they’ll be fitted regardless. In New South Wales there’s no equivalent exemption — children under 7 must be in an approved restraint for any NSW pickup or drop-off.

Where do I find my hotel’s price?

Your hotel’s suburb row in these tables is the price — and for the major hotels and resorts we publish dedicated guides with the figures stated per property, plus pickup points and arrival instructions, in the hotel transfer guides.

Why do airport pickups cost more than drop-offs?

At Gold Coast Airport, pickups carry the airport access fee and include in-terminal meet & greet — the driver is inside with a name sign working from your actual landing time, not idling in a rank queue. Drop-offs are kerbside and skip both. Brisbane Airport fares are the same in both directions, with kerbside pickup and in-terminal meet and greet a $49 add-on.

Does the fixed price ever surge at peak times?

No — no surge, no meter, no holiday loading. The fare is fixed per vehicle and locked when you book, whether it’s a school-holiday Saturday or 4am on a Tuesday.

Is there a discount for booking the return trip?

Yes — book both legs on one reservation and the return leg is 5% off, with each pickup time set from its own flight.

What if my suburb isn’t in the zone tables?

The booking form prices any address instantly — outer suburbs and hinterland addresses quote per kilometre, with the figure locked at booking exactly like a zone fare.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our transfer from Gold Coast to Brisbane airport went incredibly smoothly! Our driver John was professional, kind and very patient with our noisy youngest passenger - my 12 mo old son! The car was impeccably clean as was the car seat. A very comfortable and safe ride for Bub, and we got to the airport with plenty of time to spare. Highly recommend if travelling with kids and needing a car seat! Will definitely use again.

Owner's reply

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Outstanding service from start to finish. I found this company by pure luck and couldn't be happier. Chris made the booking process incredibly smooth and straightforward, keeping me informed every step of the way. The price quoted was highly competitive. The day before my pickup from Brisbane Airport, Sharron reached out to finalise the details, ensuring everything went perfectly. The communication and overall service were flawless. I highly recommend them and will absolutely use them again!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Booking was very easy on the website. Confirmation and updates were clear and informative. The driver (Sharron) notified me of her arrival - which was early - but really suited me; although, please don't think that she was pressuring me as she was prepared to wait. She was delightful and a great conversationalist which made the journey pleasant and the time passed quickly. I would certainly use this service again and I would ask again for Sharron. First class all around!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently travelled from Adelaide to Gold Coast for a short holiday to celebrate my mum's 60th and as a big family reunion. Chris, the proprietor and manager of CGC Transfers, initially our Uber driver, had picked us up from the airport and has provided us with the friendliest and most accommodating private transport experience. After Chris had informed us of his Private Transport business, I asked for a quote on the spot based on our itinerary and he was quick to provide with no hidden costs or issues. The price was fair given the high demands of the season and it comes with excellent communication and service from your own private driver. Highly recommend to book CGC Transfers particularly if you're in larger groups of 5-8 plus luggage. Thanks again Chris, hope to have you look after us again in the future.
