Practical Tips for Your Stay

Count children as passengers and tell us their ages. Every seat in the vehicle is a passenger seat, child or adult — and the ages let the right restraints be fitted before pickup rather than adjusted at the kerb.

Default to the Carnival for a family. Two adults, two kids, a pram and four bags overflows a sedan. The Carnival swallows all of it with room for the sandy boogie board too.

We had great chats with him and he was really helpful in suggesting activities to do near Byron. Chris, the proprietor and manager of CGC Transfers, initially our Uber driver, had picked us up from the airport and has provided us with the friendliest and most accommodating private transport experience. After Chris had informed us of his Private Transport business, I asked for a quote on the spot based on our itinerary and he was quick to provide with no hidden costs or issues. The price was fair given the high demands of the season and it comes with excellent communication and service from your own private driver. Highly recommend to book CGC Transfers particularly if you're in larger groups of 5-8 plus luggage. Thanks again Chris, hope to have you look after us again in the future.

Fixed resort-to-airport pricing: $90 sedan or $120 Kia Carnival to Gold Coast Airport; $200 or $260, with the 12-seat Transporter quoted on request to Brisbane Airport. Per vehicle, not per person. GST included, Gateway Motorway toll inside the Brisbane price, Gold Coast Airport run toll-free. Fixed price locked at booking — no surge, no metered fare, no fuel levy; a higher rate applies on Christmas Day and Easter Sunday only.
