Wyndham Surfers Paradise stands at 3018 Surfers Paradise Boulevard, toward the quieter northern end of the strip — close enough that Cavill Avenue is a short stroll, far enough that the tower sleeps well. Brisbane is about 78 km — the M1 north, then the Logan Motorway and Gateway — usually 65 to 85 minutes. If you’re travelling in peak periods, allow up to 2 hours for the run. The fixed price is $200 sedan, $260 Kia Carnival, with the Gateway toll and GST inside the figure, locked at booking. If the M1 has one of its days, the drive stretches; the price doesn’t.

Brisbane needs the terminal named at booking — Domestic and International are separate buildings several minutes apart and your airline confirmation states which one your flight uses. It’s the difference between a kerbside drop at check-in and a between-buildings shuffle with a fortnight’s luggage.

Flying out of Brisbane early? A 7am international works back to a pickup around 2:46am on the boulevard — after-hours, with the fee confirmed inside the locked quote before you commit.

Practical Tips for Your Stay

We had Ben for the first ride and he made us feel so comfortable as a group of young women travelling alone! We had great chats with him and he was really helpful in suggesting activities to do near Byron. We had Chris for the second ride and he was also super helpful in helping us with our trains from the airport. We felt very safe and would definitely use this service again!! Highly recommend!

Chris, the proprietor and manager of CGC Transfers, initially our Uber driver, had picked us up from the airport and has provided us with the friendliest and most accommodating private transport experience. After Chris had informed us of his Private Transport business, I asked for a quote on the spot based on our itinerary and he was quick to provide with no hidden costs or issues. The price was fair given the high demands of the season and it comes with excellent communication and service from your own private driver.
