Drive time: Around 15 to 20 minutes off-peak (20 to 25 minutes weekday peak)
Fixed pricing: $90 Sedan or similar / $120 Kia Carnival — GST included, no tolls on this route, based on standard operating hours 5am–9pm. Final quote locked at booking; after-hours, Christmas Day, Easter Sunday and optional extras may incur additional charges
Service: Driver allocated prior to pickup with SMS confirmation, Bond University campus-building identification, CBus Super Stadium event set-down, Robina Hospital precinct pickup, child seats provided and fitted for children 7 and under, no event-weekend surge, with pre-booked transfers available across standard and after-hours periods. CGC Airport Transfers provides private Robina to Gold Coast Airport transfers from the central Gold Coast’s integrated business, university, sport and retail precinct — Bond University, CBus Super Stadium, Robina Town Centre, Robina Hospital and the Robina Parkway business corridor. This is a pre-booked private airport transfer service, not a taxi, rideshare or shared shuttle. Operating across South East Queensland and Northern NSW since 2020.
Door-to-door from every Robina address: Bond University on University Drive (with separate set-down points at the main campus entrance, the Law Faculty, the Business School and the on-campus accommodation buildings), CBus Super Stadium on Stadium Drive, Robina Town Centre and the Robina Parkway and Cheltenham Drive business corridor, Robina Hospital on Bayberry Lane, the Robina railway station precinct, the Robina Quays canal-front residential, plus the Varsity Lakes, Mudgeeraba and Burleigh Heads borders across the 4226 postcode.
Gold Coast Airport is the closer airport for the domestic east-coast network plus short-haul international to New Zealand, Bali, Fiji and Singapore — a natural fit for Bond’s academic and student travel and the Robina Parkway corporate cohort on same-day interstate returns. CGC bookings carry no surge across Titans home-game weekends, Bond graduation weeks or Town Centre retail peaks. For the full international long-haul network, the longer Brisbane Airport (BNE) run at around 94km is the alternative.

Bond University Campus Buildings
Bond isn’t a single set-down point. The main University Drive entrance, the Law Faculty, the Business School and the on-campus accommodation buildings each run their own kerbside arrangement and a 5am pre-dawn pickup is the wrong moment to have the driver circling the campus looking for the right building. CGC captures the specific building identifier on the booking record, so the driver pulls into the right kerb the first time — whether that’s a visiting academic in on-campus accommodation or a student group heading out at the end of semester.
CBus Super Stadium Event Set-Down
CBus Super Stadium on Stadium Drive generates concentrated departure flows around Titans home games and major fixtures and the stadium precinct is exactly where rideshare pin drops fail and surge spikes hardest. CGC captures the specific set-down point at booking and holds the standard rate regardless of the event calendar, so a game-weekend departure costs the same as any other day.
Robina Hospital, Town Centre & Business Corridor
Robina Hospital on Bayberry Lane is captured with the main entrance or on-site accommodation identifier for medical-staff, patient-family and conference travel. Robina Town Centre apartments and short-stay accommodation are captured with the building name and loading zone and the Robina Parkway and Cheltenham Drive office buildings the same way — the integrated business district has enough complex addresses that a generic pin drop routinely lands at the wrong entrance.
Child Seats — 7 and Under
Queensland road rules require children 7 and under to travel in an approved restraint suited to their age and size. CGC provides and fits Australian-Standards restraints on request:
- Birth to 6 months — approved rear-facing seat
- 6 months to 4 years — rear-facing or forward-facing seat with an inbuilt harness
- 4 to 7 years — forward-facing seat with an inbuilt harness and an approved booster
Provide each child’s age and approximate size at booking so the correct seat is fitted before pickup; an additional child seat cost applies, added to your quote. Multi-child configurations are handled in the 7-seat Kia Carnival. See Queensland Government — child restraints for the full framework.
Robina to OOL vs Robina to BNE
| Factor | Robina → OOL | Robina → BNE |
|---|---|---|
| Distance | ≈ 17 km | ≈ 94 km |
| Drive time (off-peak) | ≈ 15 to 20 minutes | ~1h 25–30min |
| Flight network | Domestic east-coast, New Zealand, Bali, Fiji, Singapore, short-haul Asia-Pacific | Full international long-haul widebody |
| Sedan price | a fixed $90 | higher (longer run) |
| Tolls | None on this route | Gateway Motorway toll (BNE run) |
Gold Coast Airport is dramatically closer for Robina — about 17km and 15 to 20 minutes versus around 94km to Brisbane, one of the shortest airport runs from a central Gold Coast business hub. OOL handles domestic east-coast plus short-haul international to New Zealand, Bali, Fiji and Singapore. For the full international long-haul widebody network OOL doesn’t operate, the longer Brisbane Airport (BNE) run is the alternative.

Robina: Central Gold Coast Business, University and Sport Precinct
Robina occupies the central Gold Coast hinterland strip, bounded by Varsity Lakes to the east, Mudgeeraba inland, Burleigh Heads on the coastal side and the M1 Pacific Motorway as the western spine. The suburb carries the city’s most integrated mix of business, university, sport and retail in one place — Bond University on University Drive, CBus Super Stadium on Stadium Drive, Robina Town Centre, Robina Hospital on Bayberry Lane, the railway station precinct on the Gold Coast Line and the Robina Parkway and Cheltenham Drive business corridor.
The road geography is what makes this run so short. Robina Parkway feeds straight onto the M1 southbound and Exit 95 at Bilinga drops directly into Gold Coast Airport at the Queensland–NSW border — about 17km all up and one of the shortest airport runs from a central Gold Coast business hub. The corridor runs effectively unimpeded outside weekday morning peak, which is why the off-peak figure sits at 15 to 20 minutes.
Bond University’s campus layout is the suburb’s most distinctive pickup feature — the main entrance, the Law Faculty, the Business School and the on-campus accommodation buildings each have their own set-down arrangement, so the specific building goes on the booking record. Around it, the CBus Super Stadium event set-down, the Robina Hospital Bayberry Lane entrances, the Town Centre apartment loading zones and the Robina Quays canal-front addresses round out the pattern. Across Titans home-game weekends, Bond graduation weeks and Town Centre retail peaks, CGC bookings hold the standard rate with no surge.
Fleet Available From Robina
Two core vehicles handle the majority of Robina to Gold Coast Airport bookings — the Sedan or similar for 1–3 passengers (Bond University staff and visiting academics, Robina Parkway solo executive travel, Town Centre apartment couples, Robina Hospital medical-staff travel, no boards) and the board-carrying 7-seat Kia Carnival for families with fitted child seats, multi-suitcase international manifests, Bond student-and-family groups and Robina Quays canal-front families. For groups of 8–11, the 12-seater Transporter handles Bond conference delegate groups, graduation-week family groups, corporate event-aftermath movements and multi-family surf-trip departures.
| Vehicle | Capacity | Luggage | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sedan or similar | 1–3 passengers | 2 large cases + 2 carry-on | Bond University staff and visiting academics, Robina Parkway solo executive travel, Town Centre apartment couples, Robina Hospital medical-staff travel, no boards |
| 7-seat Kia Carnival | Up to 7 passengers | Up to 6 large cases | Families with fitted child seats, multi-suitcase international manifests, Bond student-and-family groups and Robina Quays canal-front families |
| 12-seat VW Transporter (quoted on request) | 8–11 passengers | Up to 10 large cases | Bond conference delegate groups, graduation-week family groups, corporate event-aftermath movements and multi-family surf-trip departures |
Real Scenario: Bond University Visiting Academic to OOL Domestic — 7am Flight to Sydney
A visiting academic delivering a guest lecture series at the Bond Business School is staying in on-campus accommodation on University Drive, with a Tuesday 7am domestic service from Gold Coast Airport to Sydney for a conference. The manifest is one traveller, one large suitcase and a carry-on briefcase, so the booking is the Sedan or similar.
The booking is placed two days ahead through Bond’s visiting-academic services desk, flagging the specific on-campus accommodation building and unit, the University Drive campus approach, the flight number for tracking and a request for luggage assistance. The system applies the timing rule — around 20 minutes drive plus the 1-hour domestic buffer — scheduling a 5:40am pickup. That sits inside the after-hours window, so an after-hours surcharge applies and is confirmed in the quote.
The night before, the driver sends an SMS confirming the 5:40am pickup at the specific Bond accommodation building, the vehicle registration and the route, with the after-hours fee already inside the locked figure.
On the Tuesday the driver pulls up at the accommodation building at 5:38am — no lap of the campus looking for the right entrance. The suitcase goes into the rear cargo, the briefcase onto the back seat and departure is via University Drive onto Robina Parkway and the M1 southbound. The pre-dawn corridor runs clear to Exit 95 at Bilinga, reaching Gold Coast Airport around 6:00am — comfortable for the 7am departure, with check-in cleared by 6:15am.
CGC Private Transfer vs Rideshare
| Factor | CGC pre-booked | Rideshare |

| CBus Super Stadium event set-down | ✓ Stadium Drive set-down point captured for game-day and major-event departures | ✗ Pin drops fail at the stadium during events and surge spikes hardest |
| Robina Hospital precinct | ✓ Bayberry Lane main entrance or on-site accommodation captured cleanly | ✗ Pin drops drift to the wrong wing or building entrance |
| Pricing on the day | ✓ Locked at booking — no surge on Titans home games, Bond graduation weeks or retail peaks | ✗ Dynamic surge on game weekends, graduation, weekday peak and pre-dawn |
| Business corridor addresses | ✓ Office building names and apartment loading zones captured | ✗ Pin drops fail at integrated business-district complex addresses |
| Pre-dawn availability | ✓ Pre-booked and rostered — pre-dawn Bali, Fiji and New Zealand departures routine | ✗ Driver pools thin in pre-dawn Robina |

| Child seats | ✓ Australian-Standards seats fitted, required for children 7 and under | ✗ Not provided as standard |

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Robina to Gold Coast Airport cost?
A fixed $90 Sedan or similar, $120 Kia Carnival for the roughly 17km run — GST included, with no tolls on this route and the final quote locked at booking. As one of the shortest runs on the network, Robina to OOL sits near the minimum fare for each vehicle. After-hours, Christmas Day, Easter Sunday and optional extras may incur additional charges. Per vehicle, not per passenger.
How long does the trip take?
Around 15 to 20 minutes off-peak via Robina Parkway and the M1 Pacific Motorway southbound to Exit 95 at Bilinga — approximately 17km. Weekday morning peak between 7am and 9am may add 5 to 10 minutes, landing at 20 to 25 minutes.
Are there any tolls on the Robina to Gold Coast Airport route?
No. Robina Parkway and the M1 from Robina to Coolangatta are toll-free, so there are no tolls on this route — the locked quote includes GST and applies to the whole run.
Can you pick up from Bond University?
Yes — this is the suburb’s signature pickup pattern. Bond operates separate set-down arrangements at the main University Drive entrance, the Law Faculty, the Business School and the on-campus accommodation buildings. Note the specific building in your booking and the driver pulls into the right kerb the first time, rather than circling the campus in the pre-dawn dark.
Can you pick up from CBus Super Stadium after a game?
Yes. Door-to-door pickup from the Stadium Drive set-down points for Titans home-game and major-event departures. Provide the event date and set-down point reference at booking — and the locked quote applies regardless of the event calendar, with no game-weekend surge.
Can you pick up from Robina Hospital?
Yes. Door-to-door pickup from the Bayberry Lane medical precinct for medical-staff travel, patient-family departures and medical-conference travel. Provide the main entrance or on-site accommodation identifier on the booking, since Bayberry Lane has multiple entries.
Can you carry surfboards from Robina?
Yes. The 7-seat Kia Carnival carries up to 3 boards in 1–2 bags plus standard luggage. Flag the board count, lengths and bag type at booking. The Sedan does not carry boards, so a Carnival is allocated for any board manifest.
Should I fly from Gold Coast Airport or Brisbane Airport from Robina?
Gold Coast Airport is dramatically closer — about 17km and 15 to 20 minutes, versus around 94km and 1h 25min to Brisbane. OOL handles domestic east-coast plus short-haul international to New Zealand, Bali, Fiji and Singapore. Brisbane Airport is the choice for full international long-haul widebody routes. See our Robina to Brisbane Airport page for the BNE option.
What pickup time do I need for a 10am domestic flight?
Approximately 8:40am. The 17km M1 southbound run takes 15 to 20 minutes off-peak, plus the 1-hour domestic buffer, landing you at Gold Coast Airport around 9:00am for check-in.
What pickup time do I need for a 10am international flight?
Approximately 7:40am. The 17km run takes 15 to 20 minutes off-peak, plus the 2-hour international buffer, landing you at Gold Coast Airport around 8:00am for check-in.
Are child seats fitted on the Robina run?
Yes. Australian-Standards rear-facing seats, forward-facing seats and boosters are provided and fitted before pickup for children 7 and under. Provide ages and approximate sizes at booking and an additional child seat cost applies, added to your quote. Multi-child configurations are handled in the 7-seat Kia Carnival.
Does CGC surge for Titans home games, Bond graduation or retail peaks?
No. CGC does not apply surge pricing on Gold Coast Titans home-game weekends at CBus Super Stadium, Bond University graduation weeks, Robina Town Centre retail peaks, school holidays or event weekends — the locked quote applies. A higher rate applies on Christmas Day and Easter Sunday only.
Can I book a return Gold Coast Airport to Robina transfer?
Yes. Return transfers can be booked on the same reservation. We monitor the incoming flight and meet you on arrival — you’ll receive a text confirming your transfer and where to meet your driver.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Flight tracking is included on every booking. We monitor the flight in real time and adjust the pickup automatically, at no extra charge and wait time is not charged extra.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Cancel more than 24 hours before pickup and the full fare is held as a credit toward a future booking; inside 24 hours no credit applies. If the airline cancels your flight, a full credit applies with more than 4 hours’ notice, a 50% credit between 1.5 and 4 hours and none under 90 minutes. Credits aren’t refundable in cash but never expire. Full terms are on our About Us page.
Can you handle groups larger than 11?
We can — larger parties are split across a coordinated multi-vehicle booking, arranged as a single reservation with vehicles arriving together.
Does the return pickup include meet and greet?
Gold Coast Airport pickups all include a complimentary arrivals-hall meet and greet — your driver waits with a name sign as you clear the terminal and helps with luggage.
