Are baby or child seats required?
Yes. Isle of Capri is in Queensland and QLD law requires children under 7 to use an appropriate child restraint — rear-facing baby seat, forward-facing child seat or booster depending on age. CGC provides and fits child seats, arranged at booking; multi-child configurations are handled in the Carnival. Provide ages and approximate sizes at booking; seats are $35 each, added to your quote.
Are early-morning pickups available from Isle of Capri?
Yes. Pre-booked early-morning pickups are routine for international BNE departures from Isle of Capri canal-front mansions and Via Roma central residential. Pickups before 6am are available by pre-booking and may attract an after-hours surcharge, confirmed in your online quote.
Is the return leg from Brisbane Airport the same price?
Yes — the run back onto the island is the same fixed $200 sedan or $260 Kia Carnival, Gateway toll included, with 5% off the return leg when both legs are on one booking. Book both legs on one reservation; we track your inbound flight and meet you at the terminal, then drop you at the road-side front entry rather than the canal side.
How many suitcases fit in each vehicle?
The Sedan or similar carries up to 2 large suitcases, the Kia Carnival up to 9 with 1 to 4 passengers (7 with five, 6 with six or seven) — the usual choice for the multi-suitcase international manifests common from the canal-front homes — and the 12-seater VW Crafter (up to 11 passengers) holds up to 8 (more with its luggage trailer). Note the bag count at booking and we send the right vehicle.
How and when do I pay?
Payment is taken online by card at the time of booking, so nothing is handled in the car. Corporate accounts are available by prior approval.
What is the cancellation and flight-change policy?
Cancel more than 24 hours before pickup for a full credit toward a future booking; within 24 hours, no credit applies. If a flight is cancelled, you get a full credit beyond 4 hours, a 50% credit from 1.5 to 4 hours and none inside 1.5 hours. Credits are non-refundable and carry to your next trip. Can you move a group larger than 11?
Yes. Up to 14 travel as two vehicles on one reservation — the booking form adds a second Kia Carnival or a sedan and prices it there — and 15 or more is a call to 0416 131 285. Every vehicle leaves together, timed to the same flight.
Where will my driver meet me at Brisbane Airport?
Brisbane Airport pickups are kerbside in the designated pickup zone at both the Domestic and International terminals — your SMS booking confirmation includes the exact meet point and arrival instructions. Prefer to be met inside the terminal? Inside-terminal meet and greet is available at BNE as a $49 add-on.
Is there a train from Isle of Capri to Brisbane Airport?
Not from the island. The nearest Gold Coast line station is Nerang, about 15 minutes west, and from there Airtrain runs to both Brisbane Airport terminals every 15 minutes at peak times and every 30 off-peak — a lift to the station first, a per-person fare and first trains that rarely suit a pre-dawn check-in. What if my flight is delayed?
We track the flight and move the pickup to suit. Waiting is included for 45 minutes after a domestic landing and 90 minutes after an international one, from actual landing — $2 a minute after that.
How much is Isle of Capri to Gold Coast Airport?
A fixed $90 sedan or $120 Kia Carnival to the airport — about 27 km, around 30 minutes off-peak, no tolls — and $105 / $135 as a pickup from the airport, because airport pickups include the airport access fee and in-terminal meet and greet.
Do you charge more during school holidays?
No. The fixed price holds through school holidays, long weekends and event weekends — no surge at any time of year. A higher rate applies on Easter Sunday only (closed on Christmas Day).
How far ahead should I book from Isle of Capri?
Online bookings need at least 12 hours’ notice. For anything sooner, call or text 0416 131 285 and we’ll tell you whether a car is free.
Do you go to the Brisbane cruise terminal from Isle of Capri?
Yes. Transfers to and from the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal at Pinkenba are the same fixed $200 sedan or $260 Kia Carnival as the Brisbane Airport run, in both directions, with the Gateway toll included. Give us the ship and the boarding or disembarkation time at booking.
