CGC Airport Transfers provides private door-to-door Main Beach to Brisbane Airport transfers from the Gold Coast’s most concentrated luxury-resort and superyacht-marina precinct, anchored by Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Imperial Hotel Gold Coast (formerly Palazzo Versace), Sea World Resort and Marina Mirage on the Sea World Drive peninsula.
Door-to-door from Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort at 71 Sea World Drive (porte cochère valet), Imperial Hotel Gold Coast at 94 Sea World Drive (the iconic neoclassical resort rebranded from Palazzo Versace in 2023 — many guests still book using the Palazzo name), Sea World Resort on Sea World Drive (the theme-park resort with monorail integration), Marina Mirage at 74 Sea World Drive (a major Gold Coast marina precinct with luxury dining, fashion retail and charter departures), Mariner’s Cove, Tedder Avenue village (the locals’ boutique café-strip alternative to Surfers Paradise), Main Beach Esplanade and Macarthur Parade beachfront, plus The Spit peninsula. Many travellers still refer to Imperial Hotel Gold Coast by its former name, Palazzo Versace, so both names are recognised when arranging Main Beach airport transfers. For the closer airport see our Main Beach to Gold Coast Airport (OOL) transfers.
Sea World Drive feeds directly onto Smith Street Motorway and the M1 northbound through Coomera, Ormeau and Yatala — direct motorway access with no Gold Coast Highway leg, which keeps the approximately 86km BNE run efficient at around 1h 15 to 1h 20min off-peak and competitive with the neighbouring Surfers Paradise corridor.
Pre-booked service for early-morning luxury-resort international departures and Marina Mirage charter wrap-ups, with any after-hours surcharge confirmed in the online quote. School holidays, Magic Millions, GCCEC conference weeks and the Gold Coast 500 — no surge. Return transfers from BNE back to Main Beach can be booked on the same reservation.

Main Beach to BNE vs Main Beach to OOL
| Factor | Main Beach → BNE | Main Beach → OOL |
|---|---|---|
| Distance | Approximately 86 km | Approximately 27 km |
| Drive time (off-peak) | 1h 15–1h 20min | Around 30 minutes |
| Primary route | Sea World Drive → Smith Street Motorway → M1 north → Logan → Gateway | Gold Coast Highway or M1 south to the Gold Coast Airport exit at Bilinga |
| Best for | Major international connections and wider domestic capacity | Domestic east-coast, New Zealand and short-haul international |
OOL is the closer option for most Main Beach travel — see our Main Beach to OOL page. BNE is the right choice when the flight network demands it — the international long-haul widebody network out of Brisbane with connections to Dubai, Doha, Singapore, Hong Kong, Los Angeles and London, routes not normally available from OOL.
Brisbane Airport Terminals From Main Beach
Domestic Terminal — Qantas, Virgin Australia, Jetstar and regional services, with the wider mainline capacity for interstate travel to Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
International Terminal — major international carriers including Emirates, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Air New Zealand and Fiji Airways. Flight details are checked before travel so the correct terminal is used. For terminal layout and check-in planning, see our Brisbane Airport terminal guide.
What’s Included on Every Main Beach to Brisbane Airport Booking
Door-to-Door Service
Pickup from any Main Beach address — Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort porte cochère valet (71 Sea World Drive), Imperial Hotel Gold Coast valet forecourt (94 Sea World Drive — guests may still refer to the older Palazzo Versace name), Sea World Resort family entrance, Marina Mirage charter berth or restaurant precinct (74 Sea World Drive), Mariner’s Cove, a Tedder Avenue village apartment, Main Beach Esplanade or Macarthur Parade beachfront residential, or The Spit peninsula.
Tedder Avenue’s narrow café-strip is a 30-zone with limited kerb stopping, so the side-street loading bays (Hughes Avenue, Brunswick Avenue approaches) are used for clean pickups without blocking the village traffic flow.
Driver & Vehicle
- Driver allocated prior to pickup with SMS confirmation — night-before SMS with driver name and vehicle registration; luxury-resort guests appreciate the named handover
- Modern, air-conditioned vehicles — Sedan, Kia Carnival and 12-seater Transporter
- Sheraton Grand Mirage porte cochère valet coordination — the driver pulls into the resort-side valet bay with the bell-desk team, for discreet luxury-couple, conference-delegate and corporate-offsite handovers
- Imperial Hotel Gold Coast (formerly Palazzo Versace) handling — the 2023 rebrand from Palazzo Versace is acknowledged on the booking record under both names, with the distinctive valet forecourt captured
- Marina Mirage charter berth coordination — the specific berth identifier, charter operator or restaurant/event venue inside the marina complex captured, so charter-principal post-cruise transfers route cleanly from the pontoon to BNE
- Sea World Resort family-entrance expertise — the family entrance and monorail-side drop-off captured, with multi-suitcase theme-park check-outs handled in the Kia Carnival
- Child seats arranged at booking — rear-facing capsule, forward-facing seat or booster fitted on request; an additional child seat cost applies, added to your quote at booking
Pricing & Tolls
- Indicative pricing based on your exact pickup address, locked at booking — no surge, no metered fare, no fuel levy
- GST included and the Gateway Motorway toll included in the locked quote
- Displayed pricing based on standard operating hours 5am–9pm — after-hours transfers between 9pm and 5am may incur an additional surcharge, confirmed in your online quote (essential for early-morning widebody international departures from the Main Beach resorts)
- No surge on Magic Millions, GCCEC conference weeks, the Gold Coast 500, school holidays or event weekends
Reliability
- Flight details monitored and verified before travel to ensure the correct terminal and booking information

- Pre-booked early morning and after-hours transfers available — early-morning international departures from Sheraton, Imperial Hotel, Sea World Resort and Marina Mirage handled routinely, with any after-hours surcharge confirmed in the online quote

Main Beach: Luxury-Resort Precinct, Marina Mirage Superyacht Marina and Tedder Avenue Village
Main Beach occupies the central Gold Coast on the narrow Sea World Drive peninsula between Southport, Surfers Paradise and the open Pacific. It carries the Gold Coast’s most concentrated luxury-tourism footprint — Sheraton Grand Mirage, Imperial Hotel Gold Coast (rebranded from Palazzo Versace in 2023) and Sea World Resort — plus the Tedder Avenue boutique village and the Macarthur Parade and Main Beach Esplanade beachfront strip.
Marina Mirage at 74 Sea World Drive is a major Gold Coast marina precinct with superyacht berthing, luxury dining (Glass Dining and Lounge Bar, OMEROS BROS Seafood), fashion retail, an event lawn and the SeaLink Whale Watching dock — generating charter wrap-ups, post-event group movements and superyacht-principal BNE departures. Sea World Resort, adjacent the theme park with monorail integration, drives routine Sunday-afternoon and Monday-morning family check-out demand. Sea World theme park visitors staying nearby often book Main Beach to Brisbane Airport transfers when BNE offers the required long-haul or interstate flight.
Sea World Drive feeds directly onto Smith Street Motorway and the M1 with no Gold Coast Highway leg, so the 86km BNE run stays efficient and competitive with the Surfers Paradise corridor. CGC’s Main Beach bookings span luxury-resort international long-haul, Marina Mirage charters, Sea World Resort families, Sheraton corporate-offsite Transporter movements and Tedder Avenue residents.
Main Beach bookings often include luxury-resort guests, corporate offsite groups, marina charter clients, international visitors and premium residential travellers connecting through Brisbane Airport.
Fleet Available From Main Beach
Two core vehicles handle the majority of Main Beach to Brisbane Airport bookings — the Sedan or similar for 1–3 passengers (luxury-resort couples, executive solo travellers, charter principals), and the Kia Carnival for Sea World Resort families, Marina Mirage event groups and multi-suitcase international manifests. For groups of 8–11, the 12-seater Transporter handles Sheraton and Imperial Hotel corporate-offsite departures, Marina Mirage post-event movements and Main Beach beachfront wedding parties.
| Vehicle | Passengers | Luggage | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sedan or similar | 1–3 passengers | Up to 2 large suitcases + carry-on | Sheraton Grand Mirage and Imperial Hotel luxury couples and executive solo, Marina Mirage charter principals, Tedder Avenue village departures |
| Kia Carnival | Up to 7 passengers | Up to 6 large suitcases | Sea World Resort family check-outs with child seats arranged at booking, multi-suitcase luxury-resort international, multi-generational groups |
| 12-seater Transporter | 8–11 passengers | Up to 10 large suitcases | Sheraton and Imperial Hotel corporate-offsite groups, Marina Mirage post-event groups (charter parties, fashion events, charity galas), beachfront wedding parties |
Real Scenario: Sheraton Grand Mirage Corporate Offsite to BNE Domestic — Transporter Wrap-Up
A national consulting firm wraps a three-day corporate offsite at Sheraton Grand Mirage. Ten executives need a coordinated Sunday-afternoon transfer to BNE Domestic for Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide flights staggered between 5pm and 7pm, so the booking is the 12-seater Transporter with a Sheraton porte cochère pickup, timed to the earliest (5pm) departure.
CGC schedules a 3:15pm pickup at the Sheraton porte cochère — sized for the 5pm flight with buffer for Sunday-afternoon M1 traffic through Yatala and the Logan merge. The vehicle arrives at the scheduled pickup time and the bell-desk team stages the luggage. The Transporter departs onto Sea World Drive, Smith Street Motorway and the M1 northbound and reaches BNE Domestic at approximately 4:50pm, comfortable for the 5pm departure with the remainder cleared across the 5pm–7pm window.
CGC Private Transfer vs Rideshare from Main Beach
| Factor | CGC pre-booked | Rideshare |
|---|---|---|
| Sheraton & Imperial Hotel valet coordination | ✓ Resort-side porte cochère valet bell-desk handover, luggage staged | ✗ App-based navigation can drift between the pin drop and the resort valet forecourts |
| Marina Mirage berth pickup | ✓ Specific berth or venue identifier inside the marina complex captured | ✗ App-based navigation can default to the public car park rather than the marina-side approach |
| Sea World Resort family-entrance access | ✓ Family entrance and monorail-side drop-off captured; child seats fitted | ✗ App-based navigation can default to the theme-park entrance, not the resort |
| Tedder Avenue village narrow-street pickup | ✓ Side-street loading bays (Hughes Avenue, Brunswick Avenue) used for clean pickups | ✗ The narrow strip is hard for app-matched pickups; drivers may circle or block traffic |
| Pricing on the day | ✓ No surge regardless of Magic Millions, GCCEC or event weekends | ✗ Dynamic surge applies early morning, peak periods and luxury-tourism peaks |
| Gateway Motorway toll | ✓ Included in the locked quote | ✗ Added on top of the surge fare |
| Smith Street Motorway routing | ✓ Direct M1 access used by default — no Gold Coast Highway leg | ✗ App routing variable, can pick longer paths |
| BNE long-distance acceptance (86km) | ✓ Routine 1h 15–20min run, accepted at booking | ✗ Long airport trips can be less reliable through rideshare because acceptance depends on driver availability, timing and vehicle suitability |
| Early-morning availability (2am–5am) | ✓ Pre-booked early morning transfers available, rostered for the shift | ✗ Driver availability can be limited in central Gold Coast early morning |
| QLD child seats | ✓ Correct seat fitted before pickup when arranged at booking | ✗ Not provided as standard |
| Flight details checked and monitored | ✓ Standard on every booking | ✗ Not available |

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Main Beach to Brisbane Airport cost?
Approximately $195 Sedan or similar, $255 Kia Carnival, $580 12-seater Transporter for the 86km central Gold Coast to BNE run — based on standard operating hours 5am–9pm, with the Gateway toll included and the final quote locked at booking. Per vehicle, not per passenger. All prices include GST. After-hours, Christmas Day, Easter Sunday and optional extras may incur additional charges.
How long does Main Beach to Brisbane Airport take?
Around 1h 15 to 1h 20min off-peak via Sea World Drive onto Smith Street Motorway, the M1 Pacific Motorway, the Logan Motorway merge and the Gateway Motorway into BNE — approximately 86km. Weekday peak adds 20 to 30 minutes.
Is the Gateway Motorway toll included?
Yes. Already inside the locked quote — no separate toll charge on arrival.
Are there after-hours charges?
Yes. Displayed pricing is based on standard operating hours from 5am to 9pm. After-hours transfers between 9pm and 5am may incur an additional surcharge, which is calculated and confirmed in your online quote before booking.
When does BNE make sense instead of OOL?
OOL sits approximately 27km south of Main Beach — around 30 minutes by road — and is the preferred airport for most domestic and short-haul travel. The BNE run is for major long-haul international routes not normally available from OOL, and some domestic connections may be better routed through BNE depending on airline schedules. See our Main Beach to OOL page.
Do you pick up from Sheraton Grand Mirage and Imperial Hotel Gold Coast?
Yes. Both are core Main Beach pickup points. Sheraton Grand Mirage at 71 Sea World Drive is the flagship luxury beachfront resort with porte cochère valet and bell-desk coordination. Imperial Hotel Gold Coast at 94 Sea World Drive (rebranded from Palazzo Versace in 2023) is the iconic neoclassical resort — guests routinely still book using the older Palazzo Versace name, which we acknowledge on the booking record.
Do you coordinate with hotel valet and bell desk teams?
Yes. For Sheraton Grand Mirage, Imperial Hotel Gold Coast and Sea World Resort, pickup notes can include the valet forecourt, bell desk, concierge or family entrance. This helps the driver arrive at the correct resort-side pickup point and allows luggage to be staged before departure.
Do you handle Sea World Resort family check-outs?
Yes. Sea World Resort family check-outs are routine bookings. The Kia Carnival handles families with child seats arranged at booking, multi-suitcase departures and theme-park-souvenir luggage manifests. The Sea World Resort family entrance and monorail-side drop-off are captured cleanly on the booking record.
Do you pick up from Marina Mirage charter berths?
Yes. CGC regularly collects from Marina Mirage, including marina berths, restaurants and event venues. Provide the berth identifier, restaurant name, charter operator or event location when booking so the driver can route to the correct side of the marina precinct rather than the public car park.
Why is Main Beach competitive on price despite the peninsula location?
Smith Street Motorway routing efficiency. Main Beach access via Sea World Drive feeds directly onto Smith Street Motorway and the M1 — no Gold Coast Highway leg required. As a result, the 86km run stays efficient and prices competitively with the neighbouring Surfers Paradise corridor.
Do you pick up from Tedder Avenue village?
Yes. Tedder Avenue is a core Main Beach pickup point. Because the café strip is narrow with limited kerbside stopping, CGC uses practical side-street loading points such as Hughes Avenue or Brunswick Avenue where required. Add the apartment name, side street or loading note when booking.
What pickup time do I need for a 9am international flight?
Approximately 4:40am from Main Beach. The 86km Smith Street Motorway run takes around 1h 15–20min off-peak plus the 3-hour international buffer, landing you at BNE International around 6:00am for check-in. A pre-5am pickup falls outside standard hours and may attract an after-hours surcharge.
Are child seats available?
Yes. Child seats are arranged at booking and CGC fits the correct rear-facing capsule, forward-facing seat or booster on request. Provide each child’s age and approximate size at booking. Multi-child configurations are handled in the Kia Carnival — common for Sea World Resort family check-outs. An additional child seat cost applies and is added to your quote at booking.
Are early-morning pickups available from Main Beach?
Yes. Pre-booked early morning and after-hours transfers are available. Early-morning pickups between 2am and 5am are routine for international long-haul BNE departures from Sheraton Grand Mirage, Imperial Hotel Gold Coast, Marina Mirage charter berths and Tedder Avenue apartments. Pickups before 5am fall outside standard operating hours and may attract an after-hours surcharge, confirmed in your online quote.
Do you charge for waiting time at Brisbane Airport?
No. There is no extra charge for airport waiting time. On arrivals we monitor your flight and generally allow 30 to 45 minutes after a domestic landing, and 45 minutes to 1 hour after an international landing, for you to clear the terminal and collect your bags. You will receive a text confirming your transfer and where to meet the driver.
Can I book the return trip from Brisbane Airport back to Main Beach?
Yes. The return leg is the same price as the outbound transfer, and both legs sit on one reservation. Give us your inbound flight number and we monitor it — if the flight lands early or runs late the driver adjusts. Where you are met depends on which arrivals area your flight comes into, so you will receive a text confirming your transfer along with the exact meet point and arrival instructions, whether you land at Brisbane Airport Domestic or International.
How much luggage can you carry from Main Beach?
The Sedan or similar takes up to 2 large suitcases plus carry-on, which suits luxury-resort couples and executive solo travellers. The Kia Carnival takes up to 6 large suitcases — ideal for Sea World Resort family check-outs and multi-suitcase international manifests. The 12-seater Transporter takes up to 10 large suitcases for corporate-offsite and charter groups. Tell us your bag count at booking and we size the vehicle accordingly.
Can you take a group larger than 11 from Main Beach?
Yes. The 12-seater Transporter seats up to 11 passengers. For larger Sheraton or Imperial Hotel corporate-offsite groups, Marina Mirage charter parties or beachfront wedding groups, we run multiple vehicles on the one booking so everyone reaches BNE together. Send the full headcount and luggage manifest and we coordinate the fleet.
How do I pay for my Main Beach transfer?
Payment is made online by card when you book — the exact quote is locked at that point and no payment is taken in the car. Corporate and regular-account billing is available by prior approval, which suits Sheraton and Imperial Hotel offsite organisers and repeat Marina Mirage charter clients.
What is your cancellation and flight-change policy?
Cancel more than 24 hours before pickup and you receive full credit toward a future booking; cancellations inside 24 hours aren’t credited. If your flight is cancelled, full credit applies with more than 4 hours’ notice, 50% between 1.5 and 4 hours, and none under 1.5 hours. Credits are non-refundable but valid toward a future transfer. Full terms are on our about us page.
