- Open the booking form and enter the trip: pickup, drop-off, date and time, and the flight number for an airport pickup.
- Enter your own name, email and mobile — you’re the booking contact.
- Tick I am booking for someone else and add the traveller’s name and the mobile the driver should contact. Add their email if you’d like them to get the confirmation too.
- Check the review: the Travelling line shows their name, mobile and email.
- Press Lock in this fixed price and pay by card. Once it’s paid, the confirmations go out.

The traveller’s copy needs their email in the booking. If you leave it out, only you get the confirmation — and yours shows the price, so pass on the trip details rather than forwarding it. If their email is the same as yours, you get one confirmation, with the price.
Good to Know When Someone Else Is Travelling
- Flights are tracked: a late landing moves the pickup. Waiting is included for 45 minutes after a domestic landing and 90 minutes after an international one, from actual landing; $2 a minute after that.
- Meeting them at the airport: Gold Coast Airport pickups include meet and greet inside the arrivals hall. At Brisbane Airport the pickup is kerbside, with in-terminal meet and greet a $49 add-on — worth it for a parent who’d rather not find the pickup zone.
- Baby seats and child seats: $35 per seat, fitted before pickup, if grandchildren are travelling too.
- Return trips: book both legs on one booking and 5% comes off the return leg.
- Changes: call or text 0416 131 285 with the booking number.
Frequently Asked Questions on Booking for Someone Else
Can I pay for my parents’ airport transfer?
Yes. Book it with your own details and card, tick “I am booking for someone else” and add your parents’ name and mobile. Add their email and they get the confirmation too, without the price, so the trip can be a gift.
Will the person travelling see the price?
Not on their confirmation. When their email is different from yours, their copy leaves out the price, add-ons, payment status and the invoice or receipt. The full confirmation with the price goes only to you.
What does the traveller’s confirmation include?
Their booking number and a line saying who booked it for them, then each trip’s pickup time and place, flight details, the vehicle, the driver’s details and the arrival instructions, plus a calendar file. It has no prices or payment details.
Who does the driver contact on the day?
The traveller, on the mobile you put in the booking. Your own details stay the booking contact for payment and changes.
Do I have to give the traveller’s email?
No, it’s optional. Without it, only you get the confirmation; the traveller’s name and mobile are still on the booking for the driver.
Can I book their return trip on the same booking?
Yes. Add the return in the booking form and 5% comes off the return leg. The traveller’s details cover the whole booking.
Can a hotel, PA or travel agent book for guests this way?
