All of them need a driver who’ll turn up on time, help with the doors and the bags, stow the walker without being asked, and not disappear when the appointment runs forty minutes over.
That’s the whole service. One driver — Chris, the owner — one phone number, a fixed price agreed before the trip, and a car that waits when you need it to. It’s the same door-to-door standard as our seniors airport transfers, pointed at hospitals and clinics instead of terminals.
Hospitals and Clinics We Cover
Gold Coast University Hospital (Southport) — the big one, and the one with the most stressful parking. Drop-offs go straight to the main entrance; wait-and-return means no multi-storey fees and no walk back to a distant car park after your appointment.
John Flynn Private (Tugun) and Robina Hospital — quick runs from anywhere on the southern coast. Pindara Private (Benowa) covers the central suburbs. Tweed Valley Hospital (Cudgen) serves the Kingscliff and Tweed Coast side — a short hop from our Kingscliff service area.
Brisbane hospitals — Royal Brisbane, Princess Alexandra, Mater, Greenslopes and the specialist suites around them. A fixed quoted price each way beats a day of city parking plus the M1 twice, and wait-and-return is available for appointments up to a few hours.
Day-surgery clinics, imaging centres, dialysis units and allied-health practices all count too — if it has an address, it’s coverable.
Wait-and-Return vs Separate Pickup — Both Available
Wait-and-return: Chris drives you in, parks nearby and waits, then takes you straight home. Best for appointments where the finish time is fuzzy — consults, imaging, day procedures. You walk out, the car’s there, done. Quoted as one fixed job.
Drop-off + separate pickup: two booked legs at times you choose. Best for admissions, longer treatment sessions, or when family covers one direction. If your finish time moves, one text moves the pickup.
Neither option runs on a meter. The price is fixed and confirmed before the day, so a slow clinic doesn’t become a bigger bill.
Our Mobility Policy, in Plain Words
Websites in this industry love vague promises. Here’s exactly where we stand:
We carry: folding manual wheelchairs, walkers, rollators, crutches, canes and walking frames — free, stowed and unloaded by the driver every time.
We can’t carry: powered wheelchairs or mobility scooters. They’re 40 kg-plus, and there’s no safe way for one driver to lift them into a standard vehicle.
Getting into the car: passengers need to transfer into a normal seat themselves, or travel with a carer who can assist. Chris will position the car for the shortest walk, offer a steadying arm, hold doors and handle every bag — but he isn’t able to lift or physically transfer passengers, for everyone’s safety.
The easier vehicle: the Kia Carnival’s sliding doors and higher seat height make getting in genuinely easier than a low sedan — mention mobility when you book and it’s yours, up to 7 passengers at no extra cost for the company you bring.
Flying with a Mobility Aid
Airport runs with walkers and folding chairs are routine here. Your aid travels free alongside the luggage, pickups are met inside the terminal, and Chris walks at your pace — the fare doesn’t change if the stroll to the car takes a while. If you’ve arranged the airline’s wheelchair assistance, we collect you from (or deliver you to) the handover point, at Brisbane or Gold Coast Airport.

Airport transfers run on the published fixed fares you’ll find on every route page. Appointment and hospital runs are quoted individually — the fare depends on distance and whether you want wait-and-return — but the shape is always the same: one fixed figure, GST included, locked before you book, nothing added afterwards. For full-day treatment schedules or multiple stops, day hire from $750 can be the simpler answer.
Cancellation is a full credit more than 24 hours out; within 24 hours no credit applies. Book both legs of a return on one reservation and 5% comes off.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you wait during medical appointments, or just drop off?
Both. You can book a wait-and-return — Chris parks and waits while you’re inside, then drives you straight home — or a drop-off with a separate pre-booked pickup for a time you choose. Tell us the appointment window when you book and we’ll confirm which works best for the day.
Can you take a wheelchair or walker?
Yes — folding manual wheelchairs, walkers, rollators, crutches and canes all travel free and stow easily. The one limit: we can’t carry powered wheelchairs or mobility scooters, as they’re too heavy to lift safely into a standard vehicle.
Do I need to be able to get into the car myself?
You’ll need to transfer into a normal car seat — either on your own or with help from a carer travelling with you. Chris will stow your mobility aid, offer a steadying arm and take care of the doors and bags, but he isn’t able to physically lift or transfer passengers.
Is this a wheelchair-accessible (hoist) vehicle service?
No — and we’d rather say that plainly than waste your time. Our vehicles are a standard sedan and a Kia Carnival with sliding doors and easy step-in, not hoist- or ramp-equipped. If you need to travel seated in your wheelchair, you’ll need a dedicated WAV provider.

All of them in the region — Gold Coast University Hospital at Southport, John Flynn Private at Tugun, Robina Hospital, Pindara Private at Benowa, Tweed Valley Hospital at Cudgen, and Brisbane hospitals including the Royal Brisbane, Princess Alexandra, Mater and Greenslopes.
Can you get me to hospital for an early surgical check-in?
Yes — we start at 5am, which covers most fasting-surgery admission times. Pre-book the night before at the latest and the car arrives at your door with time to spare.
How much does an appointment transfer cost?
It’s quoted as a fixed price before you book — tell us the pickup address, the hospital or clinic, and whether you want wait-and-return or a separate pickup, and you’ll have a locked figure with GST included. No meters, no waiting-time surprises added afterwards.
Can a family member or carer travel with me?
Absolutely, at no extra charge — the fare is per vehicle, not per person. The sedan takes up to 3 passengers and the Kia Carnival up to 7, so the whole support crew can come along.
Do you do regular or recurring bookings — weekly treatment, for example?
Yes. Recurring runs for treatment courses like dialysis, oncology or rehab can be set up as standing bookings so you’re not re-booking every week. One text confirms the schedule.
Is this a patient transport or ambulance service?
No — it’s non-emergency, door-to-door private transport. There’s no clinical care on board, so passengers need to be medically fit to travel seated in a normal vehicle. For anything requiring medical supervision in transit, use a patient transport service.
Can you collect me after a procedure with sedation?
Yes, if your hospital’s discharge rules are met — most require a responsible adult to accompany you home after sedation, so plan for a carer, friend or family member to ride with you. Chris will meet you at the discharge pickup point.
Do you handle airport trips for passengers with mobility aids?
Yes — it’s one of the most common runs we do. Folding wheelchairs and walkers travel free, pickups are met inside the terminal, and we hand over to (or collect from) the airline’s wheelchair assistance service at the airport.
How does the airport meet and greet work if I move slowly?
There’s no rush built into it. On pickups Chris meets you inside the terminal, takes the bags and walks at your pace — the fare doesn’t change if it takes a while. Gold Coast Airport pickups have no parking fee to pass on either.
Can you take me to a Brisbane specialist appointment?
Yes — Brisbane hospital and specialist runs are a fixed quoted price each way, with wait-and-return available for appointments up to a few hours. It’s often less than a day of hospital parking plus the stress of the M1 both ways.
What vehicles do you use?
A modern sedan for 1–3 passengers and a Kia Carnival for up to 7. The Carnival’s sliding doors and higher seating make it the easier option for anyone with limited movement — mention mobility when booking and we’ll allocate it.
What if my appointment runs late?
On a wait-and-return, Chris is parked nearby — a long consult doesn’t strand you. On a separate-pickup booking, text or call as soon as you know and we’ll shuffle the pickup time. It’s one driver and one phone number, not a call centre.
What’s your cancellation policy for medical bookings?
Cancel more than 24 hours out and you get a full credit toward a future booking. Within 24 hours no credit applies, so if an appointment might move, tell us as early as you can.
Do you discount return trips?
Yes — book both legs on one reservation and 5% comes off the total. For appointment runs, a wait-and-return is quoted as a single fixed job instead.
How far ahead should I book?
A day or two ahead is ideal for appointment runs, and earlier for surgery admissions or Brisbane trips. Same-day is sometimes possible — call or SMS 0416 131 285 and if the schedule fits, it happens.
