OOL is closer at around 35km, but BNE offers a wider major international and full-service flight network — connections to Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Los Angeles and London — that OOL doesn’t operate, plus wider domestic capacity for business and interstate travel. ### What pickup time do I need for a 9am flight?

About 6:10am for a 9am domestic flight (drive plus 1.5-hour buffer) or about 4:40am for a 9am international flight (drive plus 3-hour buffer), landing you at BNE around 7:30am or 6:00am respectively.

### Are child seats required?

Yes. Runaway Bay is in Queensland and QLD law requires children under 7 to use an appropriate child restraint — rear-facing seat, forward-facing seat or booster depending on age. CGC provides and fits child seats, arranged at booking; multi-child configurations are handled in the Carnival. Provide ages and approximate sizes at booking and an additional child seat cost applies.

### Do you surge during preseason camp windows?

No. CGC does not apply surge pricing during busy sporting-camp windows — team transfers pay the same locked rate as standard travellers. Higher rate applies only on Christmas Day and Easter Sunday.

### Is the return leg from Brisbane Airport the same price?

Yes — the return run back to Runaway Bay is priced the same as your outbound transfer. Book both legs together and we track your inbound flight, then meet you at the terminal to bring you home to the marina, apartment or wherever you started.

### How many suitcases fit in each vehicle?

The Sedan or similar takes up to 2 large suitcases — fine for a couple’s standard trip — the Kia Carnival up to 6 and the 12-seater Transporter up to 10, which covers the multi-suitcase international and visiting-team manifests common from Runaway Bay. Note your bags at booking and we match the vehicle.

### When and how do I pay?

You pay online by card at the time of booking — nothing changes hands in the car. Corporate accounts are available by prior approval.

### What happens if I cancel or my flight is cancelled?

Cancel more than 24 hours before pickup and you receive a full credit toward a future booking; inside 24 hours there is no credit. If a flight is cancelled, you get a full credit more than 4 hours out, a 50% credit between 1.5 and 4 hours and none inside 1.5 hours. Credits are non-refundable and roll toward your next trip. ### Can you move a visiting team or group of more than 11?

Yes. Groups above 11 — visiting sporting teams from the Super Centre, large family parties or corporate groups — are handled as multi-vehicle bookings, with several vehicles rostered together and team luggage and equipment cases accounted for. Give us the total numbers and we allocate the fleet.

### Where will my driver meet me at Brisbane Airport?

Brisbane Airport pickups are kerbside in the designated pickup zone at both the Domestic and International terminals — your SMS booking confirmation includes the exact meet point and arrival instructions. Prefer to be met inside the terminal? Inside-terminal meet and greet is available at BNE as a $49 add-on.

Chris, the proprietor and manager of CGC Transfers, initially our Uber driver, had picked us up from the airport and has provided us with the friendliest and most accommodating private transport experience. After Chris had informed us of his Private Transport business, I asked for a quote on the spot based on our itinerary and he was quick to provide with no hidden costs or issues.
