## Landing at Gold Coast Airport: From the Gate to the Car

Gold Coast Airport is a single terminal, so international arrivals from New Zealand come through the one arrivals hall. Passport control first, then the carousel, then the biosecurity declaration — Australia is strict on food, plant and wooden items, so declare anything you are unsure about rather than risk it. Allow **30 to 45 minutes** from touchdown on a normal day and a little more when several Trans-Tasman flights land together.
